QUEDGELEY residents woke up on Bank Holiday Monday, April 6 to find their car doors wide open, glove boxes rifled through and belongings stolen.
The items stolen included leather wallets, sunglasses, gloves, driving licences and bank cards.
Gloucestershire Constabulary have launched an investigation into the spate of car break-ins in Lower Meadow and Severn Oaks.
They are advising the public not to leave personal belongings on display in cars; to always remove valuable items and to lock the car securely.
Anyone with information should call 101 quoting incident numbers 111 and 90 of 6th April 2015.
