Police are seeking a dog owner after their pet viciously attacked another dog in Gloucester.

The attack happened in Eastern Avenue on Saturday April 11.

The incident occurred between 11.30 and 11.45am along the service road on Eastern Avenue, at the top of the Chequers Estate.

The attacking dog is described as a bull-mastiff type, of purple/grey colouring. The other dog is a terrier which received serious injuries but is now recovering.

The attacking dog ran off and it is uncertain where it lives.

Anyone with information is asked to call 101 quoting incident number 144 of April 11.
