TEMPERATURES today will peak at 18C – and will stay at a similar level for the rest of the week.
After a couple of cold days, the weather is likely to stay fine until the weekend.
A Met Office forecaster said: "After a chilly start in places it will be another dry and largely sunny day with light winds.
"It will be warm too with temperatures above average."
Tonight would see the dry spell continue, he said, although it may turn chilly with temperatures dropping to around 6C.
However, the forecaster warned of a drop in temperatures and possible rain as the weekend drew nearer.
He said: "More unsettled on Friday and Saturday with fresher winds and outbreaks of rain and heavy showers at times.
"Some sunshine is still likely though."
