Pupils at Rillington Primary School
PUPILS at Rillington Primary School, are helping to organise their own cycling fundraiser to celebrate the Tour de Yorkshire.
The Tour de Rillington will take place on Saturday, from 1.30pm to 3.30pm, with a bike hunt round the village starting from the church rooms.
Organised by the Friends of Rillington School, the event will also include a raffle, face painting and refreshments.
Tina Carr, from the Friends, said pupils had helped to make 14 photos of bikes which would be hidden.
“We wanted to do something to different to coincide with the Tour de Yorkshire coming to the area and help raise funds towards iPads for the school,” she said.
