WHILE some may think of politics as glamorous, with TV appearances and splashes in magazines, there's another side to the job too.
Campaigning, combing the streets to speak to candidates, putting up party boards and answering important questions are all part of the package.
John Marjoram, who is standing in Trinity ward in Stroud District Council's election took the opportunity of a sunny day to head out with his wheelbarrow to put up Vote Green Boards.
Green Parliamentary Candidate Sarah Lunnon who joined him said: "It's amazing, I was a bit sceptical about using a wheelbarrow at first but the sheer number of people we have talked to is amazing."
Although she added: "I'm hoping someone else is going to tackle Rodborough Hill."
