A CYCLIST is in hospital with serious injuries after colliding with the rear of a parked lorry yesterday afternoon.
The incident occurred moments before 4pm on Cirencester Road, Latton, as the black and white racing pedal cycle hit the rear of the lorry that was parked by the side of the road.
The cyclist suffered serious injuries as a result, and was taken to the trauma unit at Southmead Hospital in Bristol.
Police collision investigators closed the road for around three hours and are appealing for any witnesses who saw the collision to contact them.
