LITTLE ones at Kemble Primary school are jumping, swinging and climbing with delight thanks to a generous donation from parents.
Supporters of the school, the Kemble Parent Group raised £7,000 so that as part of a renovation a host of new equipment could be installed in the playground such as climbing wall, swings, artificial grass and stepping stones.
Anne Newton, deputy head of the school, said the children were delighted when the garden was completed.
She said: “They all came running in first thing in the morning. After school visits are welcome and we have had children still coming in at four o’clock.
“It is really great it is really exciting for them.”
She added that the grass was fantastic and it ensured that the children could safely use all the equipment.
