ELLIE BLISS, from Cirencester, is closing in on Great Britain selection for this summer’s World and European Championships.
Last weekend, Hartpury College hosted the fourth round of the modern pentathlon youth ranking competition for U19s gunning to cement a spot on the Great Britain junior teams.
Ellie finished 13th after the swimming, fencing and combined running and shooting disciplines.
Ellie's fellow Hartpury students Harry Sykes and Bradley Sutton finished fifth and seventh respectively.
The final youth ranking competition for Hartpury’s Modern Pentathlon hopefuls is the national pentathlon on June 20-21, after which the teams for the European and World Championships will be selected.
