FAIRFORD flag festival will run from May until August this year, and a new trail will give residents and visitors a chance to get involved and win some prizes.
A Flag Finder trail is available from the Fairford Town Council office and can be found on the website too - fairfordtowncouncil.gov.uk/fairford-flag-festival
The first five correct trail sheets handed into the council office will win a prize. Deadline for entries is Friday, June 26.
The festival started a few years ago when the town council wanted to brighten up the town centre. The Royal International Air Tattoo, held in Fairford each year, loaned the council their 52 flags from all the nations that come to the tattoo.
Last year the council decided to buy their own flags of all the Commonwealth nations and these are the flags flying this year.
