53-year-old man assaulted on Stratford Road in Stroud
POLICE are appealing for witnesses to an assault on a 53-year-old man in Stroud.
The incident happened in Stratford Road outside the Jubilee Gates just after midnight on Saturday, May 16.
According to the victim a man came up behind him and pushed him into a wall, causing a large scuff to his face.
He then ran off into Stratford Park through the Jubilee Gates entrance.
The attacker is described as white, about 5ft 10ins tall and in his late teens. He was wearing a dark, grey-hooded top and blue jeans.
Anyone with information is asked to call 101, quoting incident 14 of May 17.
