KINGDOM Tenors, a group of singers featuring a Cirencester 21-year-old, have reached the semi-final of ITV's Britain's Got Talent.

Daniel Jagusz-Holley, 21, appeared on the famous ITV talent show on Saturday, May 16 as part of all-male group The Kingdom Tenors.

Their rendition of Westlife's You Raise Me Up wowed celebrity judges Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon and David Walliams and the group have now been placed in the semi-final - beating thousands of other acts for a place. The video of their performance on YouTube has been watched more than one million times.

Usually critical judge Simon Cowell said the group's performance was "polished" and Daniel, a former Deer Park School pupil, said it was the best he had ever felt on stage.

They will now perform in the semi-finals on Wednesday (tomorrow) at 7.30pm during a live Britain's Got Talent show.

The Kingdom Tenors, featuring 12 lads aged between 21-31, all met through performing in various shows and auditions. Daniel is the only local lad and is also the youngest of the group.
