ORGANISERS of one the biggest and best vintage and countryside shows in the UK are appealing for all countryside or animal based charities in Gloucestershire to take part for free in this year’s event.

The show is part of the Vintage and Country Extravaganza, which takes place at South Cerney Airfield in Cirencester on July 31 and August 1 and 2.

Every year the event attracts thousands of exhibitors and visitors from across the county and actively raises money for both national and regional charities.

Becky Stickland, organiser of the countryside section said: “We are looking for new exhibits for our countryside section to help educate people about pets, wildlife and the countryside.

“The section features an arena running throughout the course of the show with many different types of displays from falconry, horse logging to ferret racing.

“If your charity would like to increase their recognition and promote their cause at the show for free please contact me on animals_countryside.svtec@hotmail.com.”

The countryside arena will also feature dog agility, rare breeds, animal conservation, alpaca’s, shire horses and children’s pony rides.
