THE seedling and plant swap at Stroud Valleys Project’s Eco-shop was a roaring success, according to organisers.

The swap, on Saturday, was a chance for avid gardeners to bring in any spare or unwanted seedlings so that people could share and have more of a variety of plants in their gardens. People brought in vegetables, flowers and even seedlings for trees.

Clare Mahdiyone, of the SVP, said: “People come and tell us their stories about what they’ve grown.”

The shop still has plenty of plants left for sale.
