AN EXCLUSIVE and unique collection of BBC Wolf Hall costumes will go on display at Berkeley Castle in Gloucestershire from June 1 until the end of the month.
Five costumes, worn by actors in the acclaimed BBC adaptation of Hilary Mantel’s award-winning historical novel, will be displayed in the Great Hall for visitors to enjoy, after the castle was used as one of the locations for the filming of the series last year.
Visitors can pick up a Wolf Hall leaflet in the gatehouse with details about the parts of the castle used for filming and allowing them to ‘walk in the footsteps’ of ancient kings and queens as well as actors in the series.
Berkeley Castle is open from Sunday to Wednesday, 11am to 5pm.
The costumes can be viewed as part of the usual castle entrance fee.
