A FUN day charity event will be held at the Fountain Inn, Stroud, this Saturday in a bid to raise funds for five-year-old Toby Dinwoodie who has tuberous sclerosis.
Friends and family of Toby are looking to raise £15,000 to allow Toby to have a downstairs bedroom.
Toby’s condition means he needs 24-hour care and due to suffering from seizures in the night cannot be left alone.
The council has pledged to give £30,000 towards the new bedroom, but family and friends must raise the rest.
Friend Kimberley Watkins said: "We’ve raised over £2,500 so far thanks to many generous donations.”
The fun day, starting at 2pm, will include an auction and raffle, live music, a barbecue, bouncy castles and a darts competition.
