Cotswold AONB Wardens’ Walks. This Saturday, May 30 join us at Hunters Hall, Kingscote for a 5 mile walk lasting 3 hours to Newington Bagpath and Owlpen. Next Tuesday, June 2 meet on the common behind Minchinhampton Church to walk 5 miles around the parish including Besbury and box. All walks start at 10am.

Arts Explosion Festival Week, Monday June 29 – Saturday July4 will be holding an exhibition of photographs and poetry from local people to celebrate the ‘Heritage of Stonehouse’. Stonehouse Gardening Club. Duncan Coombes will be joining us on Wednesday, June 3 to talk about Rock Gardens and Alpines. Meetings are at 7.30 in the Community Centre.

Stonehouse Methodist Church will be holding their annual Summer Fayre on Saturday, June 6 at the Douglas Morley Hall, Elm Road. There will be a BBQ, Skittles, Cream Teas and various stalls including cakes and games. Everyone is welcome and doors will open at 2pm.

Stonehouse Library Baby Bounce & Rhyme and Bookstart Bear sessions are back. Every Wednesday at 10.30 – 11am during school term time. Stonehouse library is there for everyone – there is a Home Library Service and why not let us promote community group or charity events. The building is also available as a venue for meetings. Royal British Legion – The Royal British Legion has implemented bi-monthly meetings, they will be on even months; Feb, April, June, Oct & Dec and on the first Tuesday at 7pm. Shopping in Stonehouse and in need of refreshment then why not pop in to the ‘Pop In’ in the Community Centre. It is open Monday Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday between 9.30am and 11.30am.
