A STYLISH fashion show with local models and designer brands kicked off a new business club for women.

Models strutted their stuff at the Kings Head Hotel, Cirencester, on Wednesday, May 20, to help launch I am woman, a club that helps women prosper in the business world.

The business club, which originally started in Swindon, gives local female entrepreneurs the chance to meet, chat and network.

Some of the town’s top fashion outlets gathered for the show organised by I am Woman member Vivienne Sharman Lewis, who used to be director of Miss Universe Wales.

Also on the night was a silent auction fundraising for two charities, HEALS of Malmesbury, a charity which offers help and support to the disadvantaged, and the Gloucester Young Carers.

Staff from Swindon based hair salon Hair Group were on hand to make sure the models stayed glamorous all night long.

The next meeting, a cocktail and canapé networking reception will be at The Kings Head, Cirencester, at 6.30pm on June 17. Visit iamwoman.biz to book your ticket.
