CIRENCESTER showed its love of culture when the town flocked to the start of Cotswold Open Studios and a pop-up art exhibition held at The Crown Inn’s event space – The Gallery.
Galleries and artists including M.A.D.E, The New Brewery Arts, Cirencester Framemakers & Gallery and The Coln Gallery all took part in the two day event allowing members of the public to see artists work.
Cotswold Open Studios ran over three consecutive weekends in June invloving sculptors, printmakers and ceramicists. It was expertly run by Charlie Hill of Artventure, “It was great to have a space in the centre of Cirencester that we could use and it was a real success”, she said. “The event can only grow and we are hoping to involve The Crown’s The Gallery again next year.”
