DOZENS of people pulled on their running shoes for The Door Youth Project’s annual sponsored 5k Race4All at the weekend.
The Door and Christian Aid banded together to organise the event at Woodchester Park and Mansion on Saturday.
Harry Gardener, a fundraiser at The Door, which helps disadvantaged young people, said: “It was a great day – the weather held out until the run finished and we received lots of positive feedback about the route.”
Organisers are still counting the money raised at the event.
Andrew Topping won the race, crossing the finishing line with a time of 20 minutes and 27 seconds.
Henrik Male came a close second, finishing in 20 minutes and 42 seconds.
