THE Glastonbury of the natural world is returning for 2015.

Treefest is back with a bang and has a jam-packed line-up for the whole family to enjoy during the August Bank Holiday weekend (29-31 August).

Hosted for the 21st consecutive year by The Forestry Commission’s Westonbirt Arboretum, Treefest is a three-day event that celebrates nature, trees and woodcraft.

The event boasts a programme of family activities, such as den building, tree climbing and zip wire and music will come in the shape of acoustic, soul, country and folk music.

Simon Hough, Recreation Manager at the National Arboretum, said: “Treefest is back and we’re planning to make it another highlight event for families during the summer holidays. Last year thousands of people of all ages joined us over the three days, and we’re expecting just as many to come and celebrate the world of trees with us this year.

“We’ve got a packed programme that promises to keep the whole family entertained. It’s a glorious setting and kids go free, which makes it fantastic value and a great family day out!”

On the gate tickets cost £15 for adults, £12 for students and £7.50 for Friends of Westonbirt Arboretum.

Under 18s go free.

Early bird discounts will give up to a third off ticket prices and can be bought by visiting www.forestry.gov.uk/westonbirt-treefest
