SCOUTS and Guides from across the country descended on Cirencester Park earlier this month to put their outdoor skills to the test.
Around 2000 youngsters, which included a team from 1st Cirencester Scouts, were there to take part in Strategy, and event aimed at 10 to 14 year olds, which saw approximately 1500 young people completing different challenges around the park to earn points.
They also put themselves to the test by taking part in Evolution, a 15 mile hike around the Cotswold’s with fewer, but larger challenges, along the way.
Event organiser, Lewis Dangerfield, said: “With these events, we aim to provide young people aged 10 - 25 a fun and challenging weekend, allowing them to learn and test new skills, while meet with their peers.”
