Around 300 people came along to the event to enjoy a dog show, mad hatter's tea party and plenty of stalls and activities.
Joanna Bird, an organiser, said: "It was very well attended and fortunately the rain held off until around 5pm.
"It was a really nice community day and we are glad that Keith could come too."
Players from Rodborough football club also came along to take part in a penalty shoot-out competition.
After the fete an Elvis night was held in the community hall on Rodborough playing fields.
