PUPILS were out in celebration at the arrival of summer at Wynstones Summer Fair on Saturday.
Following a colourful, exquisitely delivered pageantry tale of courage and love from a first nation folk legend, there were games to suit every ability from the greasy pole to coconut shy and a lively performance of circus skills.
Elsewhere children had their faces painted or enjoyed tales in the story tent. Meanwhile, adults caught up with friends over coffee and a barbecue and browsed an exhibition of work by students.
Profit from the day will go towards playground and sports equipment for the pupils.
