THREE cars parked in Church Street car park, Stroud, were reduced to a pile of wreckage after catching fire last night.
Police said an electrical fault caused one of the cars to go up in flames, which then spread to two other cars parked nearby.
The fire service was called to put out the fire at about 7pm. Nobody was injured.
Police said the incident was not suspicious.
SNJ reader Lola Clark-Stone, 20, from Stroud took a photo of the blaze.
