EXCELLENT weather meant even larger crowds for this year's Cotswold Show.

Cirencester Park was packed with visitors at the weekend, all turning out to enjoy the annual countryside show.

The event saw a huge turn-out, with thousands of visitors on both days attending to watch animal shows, motorcycle stunts, cooking demonstrations or to just enjoy a glass of Pimms in the sun.

Organisers were busy keeping traffic flowing on both days, as the large influx of people meant the roads around the park were heavy with traffic.

Once the show had finished yesterday, happy visitors took to social media to express their thanks.

"Just touched home after a fantastic Cotswold Show Thanks everyone for making it a epic weekend," said Twitter user Simon Whitehead.

The official Twitter account for Westonbirt Prep School wrote: "A super afternoon at Cotswold Show. Great stalls, food and entertainment."
