A FOSTERING drop-in event will be at Minchinhampton Community Library, School Road on Tuesday, July 14 from 2-5.30pm.
Hosted by Gloucestershire County Council, people are invited to come along to the event and have a chat about fostering.
The county council accepts applications to foster from all sectors of society. There is no upper age limit to foster and people can be married, single, co-habiting, in a heterosexual or same sex relationship, a homeowner or renting a property.
All children are different, and to meet their needs, the council is looking for a wide variety of people. All applicants will need to be aged over 21 and have a spare room in their home.
The council is particularly keen to hear from people looking to foster older children and teenagers.
