A MINUTE'S silence is being held across the UK at 11.30am today in memory of the 52 people killed by suicide bombers in London on July 7 2005 - 10 years ago.

A service is being held at St Paul's Cathedral and survivors of the attacks and relatives of the victims will be attending.

Many people across the UK will observe a minute's silence at 11:30am, including some businesses and individuals in the Cotswolds and north Wiltshire.

Cotswold District Council will also be observing the silence.

The bombings of three Tube trains and a bus - carried out by four bombers linked to al-Qaeda and carrying rucksacks of explosives - was the worst single terrorist atrocity on British soil.
