HRH the Princess Royal will be Cirencester this weekend to celebrate the 70th anniversary of Royal British Legion Women’s Section in Cirencester.
To mark the occasion there will be a private service of thanksgiving at St John Baptist Parish Church in Cirencester on Saturday at 2.30pm on Saturday with a star-studded line up of guests, including the princess Royal and her guard of honour.
Around 250 people are expected to attend the service.
Following the service there will be a parade and a march past through the Market Place led by the Waterloo 7 Rifles Military Band.
Street closures in Gosditch Street and the Market Place will be in force from 3pm.
