A GENEROUS donation of £264 has been donated to the Cirencester Opportunity Group from the Waitrose Community Matters scheme.
The money will be put towards the specialist nursery and pre-school’s Meal Appeal, which helps fund the hot, nutritious two-course meals that they prepare for the children at lunchtimes.
Food donations have also been made by The Cotswold Chef, Rob Rees and his Wiggly Worm charity.
“The support that we have received from both Waitrose and The Wiggly Worm has been wonderful,” said Lyn Cole, Cirencester Opportunity Group Centre Manager.
“The support we are shown goes a long way towards helping us run the centre and giving the children every chance of learning and enjoying themselves with nutritious meals.”
Cirencester Opportunity Group also received donations from both Quenington Bulldogs and Stroud High School.
Further information about the charity and how you can also support the Meal Appeal campaign is available from opportunity-group.co.uk, emailing steph@opportunity-group.co.uk or calling 01285 659117.
