A MAN in his 70s died in a multi-vehicle crash on the A420 in Faringdon yesterday.
Another man involved in the crash was airlifted to the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford with life-threatening injuries. Three others suffered minor injuries, Thames Valley Police said.
A Ford Focus, a Toyota Auris and a Ford Transit van were involved in the crash with a Ford transit lorry near Faringdon shortly after 9am.
The road was closed for several hours while the vehicles were recovered and police investigations were carried out.
The police asked anyone who may have any information about the crash to call 101.
