A SOFTWARE company has committed to support Ruskin Mill College financially as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme for 2015.

Ruskin Mill, in Nailsworth, works with young people aged 16-25 with complex behaviour and learning difficulties and disabilities.

The college, which recently achieved a new ‘Good’ rating following an Ofsted inspection, is one of four specialist centres operated by Ruskin Mill Trust that provides Practical Skills Therapeutic Education, inspired by Rudolf Steiner, John Ruskin and William Morris, for both day and residential provision.

Mike Allen, managing director of CAM, said: “We decided to support the college financially this year as part of our sustainable CSR programme, as we could clearly see how our contribution could continue to help it develop and improve its practical skills curriculum.”

Dan Alipaz, principal of the college, said: “We are delighted to have a partner that understands the importance of preparing young adults to lead a fulfilling life in the wider community.”
