STRATTON Primary School pupils ended term by pulling on their trainers and sporting pink in order to raise cash for Cancer Research UK.
As part of a Race for Life event, Reception pupils accompanied by their parents and grandparents and their Year 6 friends speedily completed two circuits of the course at the school, which amounted to almost 600 metres each.
Not content with taking part in one race, Year 6 pupils ran another 266 kilometres and raised £1,352.50 for the charity.
A spokesman for the school, Shirley Bond, thanked those that took part.
She said: “You are all such stars! A big thank you and well done to everyone who took part and sponsored you!”
