A BROKEN DOWN bus caused traffic chaos in central Stroud earlier today as the driver couldn’t work his hand brake.
The incident, at around 9.30am, caused delays as the bus stopped in the middle of the Merrywalks - Beeches Green roundabout.
Police attended the scene as traffic queued both ways on the A46 and on the B0470 Slad Road.
The incident has now been cleared.
