Weather: rainy start to the day but some sunshine later
TODAY will start very wet start with outbreaks of thundery rain.
During the day, the rain is expected and as a result it will brighten up late in the afternoon.
It will feel relatively cool, with a keen northwesterly breeze and the maximum temperature will be 16°C.
This evening the minimum temperature will be 8°C, and cloud will break up leaving clear spells overnight.
By dawn cloud will once again thicken heralding the arrival of the next band of rain from the southwest.
