THERE was a spate of burglaries at businesses in Cirencester town centre last week.
The first incident happened at The Launderette on West Way in Cirencester between 7pm on Wednesday August 19 and 7am on Thursday, August 20.
Thieves forced entry to the launderette and then entered staff area where a key safe containing several hundred pounds was stolen.
Then between 11pm on Saturday and 9.50am on Sunday, thieves forced their way into Pick a Pot and Paint on Black Jack Street, broke into a till and stole a small amount of cash.
And between 8pm on Saturday and 8.50am on Sunday criminals broke into a barbers' shop and stole over £100.
Police believe that the burglaries at the weekend could be linked.
