ONLINE education specialists from all over the UK are to gather at Stonehouse Court Hotel to share knowledge and expertise on the future of eLearning.
Industry expert Clive Shepherd is to attend the event which is hosted by the Stonehouse-based software provider eLearning247.
Neil Hyde, managing director of Nimble, a software specialist, said: “It is great to have a speaker with Clive’s depth of insight addressing delegates to the Nimble Community Day.
“It’s a really exciting time for everyone involved in the eLearning industry.
"More and more companies are recognising its benefits as a training resource, especially given its cost effectiveness and flexibility."
Since the arrival of online learning pioneers Xebec McGraw-Hill in the 1990s, Stroud has joined Brighton as a major hub for eLearning.
The event takes place on Thursday, September 17.
