AN AUTISTIC teenager from Stroud who went missing this afternoon has been found safe and well near Bath.
Officers were worried for Nick's safety after he went missing cycling towards Nailsworth from Horsley at around 3.30pm today.
A police helicopter was called just after 4.30pm to assist with an extensive search in Nailsworth.
A spokesman from Gloucestershire Police said: "Following an appeal on social media several people got in contact to say they had seen him cycling on the A46.
"In the last few minutes, officers reacting to that information located Nicholas on the outskirts of Bath, safe and well.
"Thank you to everyone who helped circulate this appeal.
"You've helped safeguard a man's welfare and made his family and friends very happy."
