POLICE have partially closed off the Merrywalks/Cainscross Road roundabout in central Stroud after two cars collided.
A grey VW Golf and a grey people-carrier crashed at around 4.10pm this afternoon.
No one was injured in the accident, a police spokesperson said.
A police officer has closed an area of the busy roundabout while recovery vehicles remove the badly damaged VW.
The people carrier has already been removed.
There is traffic building up in Cainscross Road and Merrywalks.
Drivers are advised to avoid the area if possible.
