CHRISTMAS will be brought to life at a garden centre charity event, which will feature Cirencester X Factor hopeful Hannah Marie Kilminster.

At the event on Thursday, October 8,  Hannah Marie will perform with other acts such as Cirencester Male Voice Choir and there will be live Christmas themed demonstrations such as ‘how to make a wreath’ and ‘decorate a Christmas tree’.

Proceeds from the evening will support hospital units funded by the Teenage Cancer Trust, which provides care and support for young people aged 13-24 diagnosed with cancer.

Regional fundraiser at Teenage Cancer Trust, Christine Jason, said: “We are looking forward to achieving great things through our Christmas partnership with Dobbies. All the money raised will go towards our specialist cancer units near to the stores and help support young people in their local area as they go through their cancer journey. Christmas is a time for giving so let’s get the festivities started early and make this a year to remember.”

The event is being organised to launch the Christmas shopping season and kick-start Dobbies national Christmas charity partnership with the Teenage Cancer Trust.

Tickets for the charity night cost £1 and include a mince pie and mulled wine on arrival.

The event takes place between 5pm and 9pm and tickets are available to purchase both in advance at Dobbies as well as on arrival on the night.

Customers can also enjoy £10 off if they spend £50 or more on the night.
