WHO’S at the market this week?

Starting in the far corner of the square we’ve got Adey’s Farm Organic Meats from Berkeley, next to them this week is Baskie’s Boutique with dog treats, collars, coats and leads and Corinium Ales, selling a range of bottled beers such as Centurion Stout and Ale Caesar IPA.

Going right from Adey’s its Hobbs House Bakery, with a huge range of breads, then Plenty! Pies from Nailsworth, Brinkworth Dairy, who do a marvellous rustic butter and Frocester Fayre; market originals and they’ve never missed a market!

Down the side wall it’s Bow in the Cloud wines, Lishkins Preserves, Kalya skin treatments and the Country Girls co-op with cakes, cookies, quiches, preserves and plants for the garden.

The entrance to the Square is flanked by Paget’s Veg on the left and La Parisienne Bakery next to Days Cottage Apple Juice on the right.

Following on down the left wall its Cotswold Puddings, Godsell’s cheeses, Nature’s Kitchen soups and Sweet Hearts in the corner, with Madgett’s Farm free range poultry and the Cotswold Curer leading to the market café.

The central square will be made up of Naite farm eggs, Croft Farm Apples, Taena pottery, Lansdown Pottery, Jonathan Crump Cheeses, Windrush Valley Goat Dairy, the Veggie Deli, Gloucester Brewery and Katie Crunch Fudge.

Out on Union Street the Organic Vegetables Aisle is made up of Newark Farm, Hotch Potch and Coleshill Organics with Overton Farm Organic Eggs sitting at the top; blocking off the end of the row we usually have the Garlic Farm.

On the corner it’s Forest Mushrooms and Pippin Doughnuts and opposite them there’s the Hinton Marsh Farm meat stall with a great barbecue, next its Za Za falafels, Niang Thai Snacks and Jess’ Ladies organic dairy running in front of Iceland.

As you carry on along Union Street its Julian Harvard Cut Flowers on the left, Liz Dart Stained glass, Three Counties Liqueurs, NG Leather and Over Farm Vegetables, Aristone Garden Ornaments, Fresh Olives and at the very end it’s the Artisan Baker.

And let’s not forget the littler Flea Market in Threadneedle Street.
