A TEACHER has returned to the school where she enjoyed her first placement as a student – as the new head.
Claire Jones says she immediately fell in love with Eastcombe Primary School while on her teacher training course 17 years ago.
She said: “I am absolutely delighted to have been chosen as the new head teacher of Eastcombe Primary school.
“My impression of the school, on my initial visit a few months ago, was that it was a fabulous place of learning and a nurturing environment.
“I am looking forward to leading the school with energy and enthusiasm as we continue to build upon the school’s previous successes.”
