FAMILIES came along to grab a bargain at a jumble sale in aid of the Medicins du Monde charity.
The sale, organised by Stroud2Calais and Stroud Supporting Calais Refugees, raised nearly £1,000.
Hard-working volunteers sorted through the donations which had been left outside The Old Town Hall in Stroud.
"I would like to thank everyone who came along to help," said Jeannie Etherton, an organiser.
"We had a huge amount of items donated.
"We are planning another jumble sale in the few weeks."
The Medicins du Monde charity provides emergency and long-term medical care to refugees.
A total of £822.15 was raised.
