A NAILSWORTH man has denied trying to set fire to a house in Stroud.
Leon Dunlop, 26, of Grace Dale, Old Bristol Road, Nailsworth, pleaded not guilty to arson with intent to endanger life, when he appeared at Gloucester Crown Court on Thursday.
Dunlop was alleged to have tried to start a fire at a house in Eros Close, Stroud on February 21 this year.
He allegedly interfered with the letterbox of the property belonging to Colin Bloxsome.
A plea and case management hearing was listed for January 18 next year and Dunlop was granted conditional bail.
A four to five day trial will be held on a date to be fixed after April, 2016.
