THIS is the moment a bank worker running the Stroud Half Marathon surprised his girlfriend - by asking her to marry him halfway through the race.
Rob Burrows was running the Stroud Half in memory of his friend Rob Ashby, a former Marling School pupil from Stroud, who passed away from cancer at the age of 21 in 2007.
Near the finish line, Rob briefly left the track to find his girlfriend Becca Cross in the crowd and make the proposal, to which she said 'yes.'
He raised around £1,400 for the Teenage Cancer Trust.
