ROTARY 5 Valleys Fireworks are set to illuminate the sky above Stroud this evening, as the largest professional firework event in the area returns with a bang.

Formerly known as the Ebley Firework Display this event is jointly organized by the Rotary clubs of Stroud, Nailsworth and Stonehouse.

Taking place on Monday October 26, the event is being held on Marling School Field in Stroud.

This is an ever-popular family friendly charity event that has been run for many years.

Attractions include John Coneleys Fun Fair, food, drink and for the second year following by poplar demand a covered area for the under12s to enjoy a variety of art and creative activities free of charge.

The amazing display is designed and choreographed to music by current British Firework Champions of Champions, Star Fireworks.

This year’s fireworks display is in part choreographed to the new James Bond Film Spectre’s theme song Writing on the Wall by Sam Smith.

Profits go to support local good causes and charities with at least half the profits directed towards young people in acknowledgement that the event originally started at Ebley Children’s Home.
