A 90-year-old man was fooled out of £2,000 at a cashpoint by a pair of conmen.
The pensioner was withdrawing money at around 10.30am on Wednesday in Southgate Street, Gloucester, when a woman began speaking to him and pressing buttons on the keypad in an attempt to distract him.
During this time a man is thought to have taken the victim’s bankcard.
Two thousand pounds was then later withdrawn from the victim’s account at the same cashpoint by the offenders.
Police are concerned that another elderly man may also have been targeted by the offenders. He is described as white, bald, wearing glasses, a light purple shirt, dark trousers and a dark coat.
He is asked to contact police on 101 quoting incident 163 of Wednesday, November 11.
