A MAN has died in the centre of Cirencester after falling into cardiac arrest.
The 70-year-old was on Sheep Street outside Waitrose at around 3.25pm yesterday when he began to experience heart problems.
Paramedics rushed to the scene and carried out CPR but he was pronounced dead soon after.
A number of vehicles from the emergency services were on the scene.
A spokesman for South Western Ambulance Service said: “CPR was carried out on scene but unfortunately the patient was declared as deceased a short while later.”
