CRAZY hairstyles were sported by pupils and staff at St Lawrence C of E Primary School in Lechlade to raise £300 for Children in Need.
The whole school each paid £1 to raise funds for the national appeal for the opportunity to don wacky wigs and exciting hairstyles.
As part of the event, its organisers, the school council also made and sold biscuits.
The school council decided wacky hair would be the ideal theme for the event after receiving a fundraising pack from the BBC.
The council has representatives from each year group and is led by chairman, Tosca Knight.
The school council also runs a tuck shop twice a week – which has proved to be very popular and encourages suggestions for ways to improve the school from each year group.
It also invites people in, so that it can forge good links with the community and practice meeting new people.
