PURTON Reserves had a field day at Shrivenham Reserves inflicting a 12-1 drubbing on the home side, writes Alan Eastwood.
Striker Shane Hibbert netted seven times, Matthew Coote bagged a brace and Mile Lees, Jake Bailey and Aranda Mesas all chipped in with a goal apiece which pushed the team up to third in the table on their first season in the league.
The win for manager Lee Ashby’s side came despite losing skipper Craig Kent and Jordan Hall with injuries.
