TRADERS raised hundreds of pounds for charity at a craft fair in Stroud.

Bargain hunters came along to the Rotary Club of Stroud’s second craft fair to pick up Christmas bargains and browse an array of displays.

With traders from across the West Country snapping up the 12 available stalls in the Merrywalks shopping centre, there were wooden toys, organic hand face cream, jewellery, toys, clothes on offer.

The wind and rain did not stop shoppers from coming to grab a bargain and around £225 was raised for the Longfield hospice in Minchinhampton at the event, which is supported by the SNJ.

The Rotary Club’s first craft fair was held in September in aid of the Longfield hospice and raised nearly £200. The next will be in April.
